Which Cisco IP Phones support Extension Mobility in your company? Extension Mobility is the Cisco Unified Communications feature which makes it possible for employees to use any desktop telephone at any desk as if it is theirs. By logging into that specific telephone, the telephone activates their own profile with their extension number (that’s why it is called Extension Mobility), their own feature settings and their own contacts.

The only drawback is the rather cumbersome login procedure, where you have to type your username and your pin code using the numeric keypad of a telephone. It is precisely this which is solved by our Active Login Manager. When the ALM software is installed you simply start your computer – desktop or laptop – and the fixed IP telephone at your desk is logged in and yours. And the other way around: Switch off or lock your computer, and your telephone is logged out.
Simple answer: Any Cisco IP telephone that does support Extension Mobility, can be used with our Active Login Manager.
